KUTZTOWN, PA (March 20, 2010) – Kutztown University senior bowler Steph Ray (West Lawn, PA/Wilson ) was named to the Northeast Conference (NEC) all-bowling second team. The team was announced prior to the start of the annual conference championships.

This is the second consecutive year that Ray has earned postseason recognition from the NEC. Ray, the Golden Bears' lone senior, remained consistent throughout both traditional and baker play to help Kutztown to its 9-5 NEC record and runner-up showing. 

She posted a team-high 193.3 traditional average over 14 games during conference play and knocked down 19.6 pins per frame during the baker portion of the league matches.  She filled 83.6 percent of frames bowled in traditional games and 82.1 percent of baker frames.

Kutztown competes in the NEC championship tournament seeded second beginning Saturday at Parkwood Lanes in Elmwood, N.J.
