Also attending for Kutztown was softball head coach Judy Lawes and assistant coach Don Justus along with head track and field coach Ray Hoffman.

Arbogast enjoyed another sterling season for Kutztown. She won 24 games and had a 2.10 earned run average. She was third in the PSAC this season with 243 strikeouts.
Recently, Arbogast became the first player in school history to strikeout 1,000 batters in her career. Arguably the most decorated pitcher in Kutztown history, Arbogast holds school records in strikeouts, wins (97), games (162), saves (eight), complete games (98), shutouts (28), and innings pitched (904).

Reimer helped the cross-country team finish second in the Atlantic Regional and 14th at the NCAA Division II national championships. Reimer, who earned all-regional honors, was the Golden Bears' second highest finisher at the NCAA championships, finishing the course in 22 minutes, 33.5 seconds. She currently holds the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:53.01).

Lauren Solley was recognized as the association's top field hockey player and Steph Jeppesen  was honored for being named KU's female athlete of the year.

The history of the LVAIAW parallels the history of AIAW (Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women) and the Title IX movement. The AIAW was founded in 1971 to govern collegiate women's athletics in the United States and to administer national championships. Cedar Crest, DeSales, Kutztown, Lafayette, Lehigh, Moravian and Muhlenberg comprise the member institutions of the LVAIAW.
