KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University's Jacob Murray (Pine Grove, PA/Pine Grove) (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) finished fifth in the decathlon as KU hosted the Mondschein Multi.

Murray tallied 5,611 points from his 10 events.  He scored his biggest total in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:32.05 that garnered 731 points.  He also topped 650 points in the 110-meter hurdles with a 16.70 that was worth 656.  Three more events tallied Murray at least 600 points each.
 
His score was nearly 70 points better than he posted in his last multi-event, the Shamrock Invitational on March 15.
 
Moravian's Nicco Dalpiaz finished first overall with a total of 6,211 in a field of 17 student-athletes.
 
The Golden Bears are back in action when they travel to West Chester on Saturday, April 14 for the WCU Open.
