Fraction Named to Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Team of the Year

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Kutztown University's Micah Fraction (Macungie, PA/Montrose Christian) pulled in another honor during his remarkable senior season, earning a place on the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Team of the Year.

Fraction is currently second in the PSAC in scoring at 20.4 points per game, leads in free throws made (149), while rating fourth in free throw percentage (.861).  The guard also ranks among the conference leaders in three-point field goals (sixth, 48), three-point field goal percentage (11th, .320) and assists (ninth, 3.5).

His scoring average, free throw percentage, three-point field goals and assists all lead Kutztown.

Fraction has scored at least 20 points 12 times this season and has topped 30 on three occasions, including a career-high 35 at Slippery Rock. In just two years at KU, he has already tallied 912 points. 

He has also been part of an iron man rotation for Kutztown.  The Golden Bears have just six healty players and Fraction has played every minute in six consecutive contests and he has averaged 37.9 minutes per game this season.  


Kutztown hosts West Chester on February 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Keystone Arena.
