PSAC Release

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Rachel Grula (Drums, PA/Hazleton Area) of the Kutztown University women's tennis team has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week after a week of undefeated singles play to help the Golden Bears earn their first divisional title.
 
Grula went 2-0 last week in singles PSAC play and stretched her overall winning streak to three as the Golden Bears sealed the first perfect conference season in school history.
 
In singles play, she did not allow more than two points against her in either of her matches. She defeated her Bloomsburg University and East Stroudsburg University opponents both 6-2, 6-0.

She also went 3-1 in doubles play, 2-0 in PSAC play, reaching her seventh win of the season with partner Tori Zander (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen).
