KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's and women's tennis teams have released their respective schedules for the upcoming 2013-14 season highlighted by the individual conference championships in the fall and the team championships at a new site in the spring.
 
The Golden Bears open their season at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual Championships on Sept. 14-15 hosted by Bloomsburg University. The fall season will conclude with dual matches on Oct. 4-5 at the Keystone Courts. The women will host Mercyhurst (Oct. 4) and Edinboro (Oct. 5) as the men will close their fall season against Edinboro.
 
The men open their spring conference season on Saturday, Mar. 8 at Edinboro with a match the following day (Mar. 9) at Mercyhurst.
 
The women open their spring slate against Shippensburg University on Tuesday, Mar. 25 at the Keystone Courts. Both teams travel to Millersville for a pair of dual matches on Friday, Mar. 28, but return home the next day (Mar. 29) to face West Chester at 1 p.m.
 
While the men will have the next week off from competition, Kutztown's women's team travels to Cheyney University for a match on Tuesday, Apr. 1 at 2 p.m.
 
Both teams close out the regular season with road contests at Bloomsburg on Tuesday, Apr. 8, followed by the final match at the Keystone Courts on Friday, Apr. 11 against East Stroudsburg.
 
The PSAC Championships will be held at West Chester on Apr. 18-19 for the semifinals and championship matches. Prior to the semifinals, the quarterfinals for the women will take place on Tuesday, Apr. 14 at one of the two participating schools.
