KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University acrobatics & tumbling built an early lead and never looked back in picking up its third win of the season, 230.080-117.750, over Stevenson University Thursday evening at Keystone Arena.

The Golden Bears (3-1) outscored the Mustangs in all four heats of the compulsory event, with high scores of 9.40 in the toss and 9.20 in the pyramid, to take a sizable 33.45-22.15 advantage to the acro event.

KU added to its lead by 1.5 points in the acro event and put up two 9+ scores in the pyramid to keep a double-digit lead heading into the half. The Bears' registered a 9.70/10 in the pyramid open heat with

Sydney Jundt (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester),
Catherine Lewis (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford),

The second half also belonged to the Maroon and Gold. Kutztown outscored Stevenson (0-1) 24.65-20.80 in the toss and pulled away in the tumbling and team events with the undermanned Mustangs unable to field competitors in the duo pass and team event.

Lincoln provided her second straight 9+ score in the 6-element pass with a 9.20/9.55.

After three consecutive weeks with meets, Kutztown will break for a few before heading to Georgian Court on Friday, March 14, for a 6 p.m. start.
