Kutztown University Athletics

Jack Entriken is in his third year as the director of sports medicine, and 33rd on staff overall, at Kutztown University in 2024-25.
 
Entriken began his tenure at KU in the Fall of 1992. He came to Kutztown after spending two years at Shippensburg University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Prior to his time with Shippensburg, Entriken spent two-and-a-half years working at Chester County Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, a physical therapy clinic in West Chester.
 
Entriken is a 1987 graduate of West Chester University receiving a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education with a concentration in athletic training. He received his Master of Science in Student Personnel Counseling from Shippensburg. Entriken earned a post-master’s certificate as a NASM certified corrective exercise specialist in 2009 and a prescription exercise specialist certification in 2011, both from California University of Pennsylvania.
 
Entriken is a licensed athletic trainer (LAT) in the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society (PATs). He has been a member of the Optimist Club of Kutztown since 2000, which is a service organization that provides assistance to youth in the Kutztown and surrounding communities.
 
Entriken is a native Philadelphian and graduated from Central High School. He and wife, Amy, reside in Kutztown. They have three children.
