Michael Aboulhouda

Michael Aboulhouda brings eight years of track and field coaching experience, with a primary focus on the throwing events. During his coaching career, he has helped develop multiple NCAA national qualifiers, PSAC medalists, conference scorers, school record holders and all-time top performers, and team leaders across the shot put, discus, hammer throw, weight throw, and javelin.

Aboulhouda’s coaching philosophy centers on long-term athlete development, technical consistency, strength and power development, and individualized training. He works closely with each student-athlete to create event-specific plans based on their experience, goals, and athletic background, while also emphasizing academic success, leadership, accountability, and team involvement.

Potential recruits can expect a competitive and supportive environment focused on continued improvement both in and out of competition. Aboulhouda is committed to helping student-athletes reach their highest level while preparing them to contribute to the program, succeed academically, and grow as leaders throughout their collegiate careers.

In addition to his coaching experience, Aboulhouda is an active member of United States Bobsled And Skeleton (USABS). As a competitive bobsled athlete, he brings a unique perspective on elite-level performance, strength and power development, speed training, and the dedication required to compete at the highest levels of sport.

His experience balancing high-performance athletics, coaching, and professional responsibilities allows him to mentor student-athletes on goal setting, resilience, and the habits necessary for success both on the field and beyond graduation.
